Pity the poor prostate, a much maligned and misunderstood organ. As men age, the prostate can be the source of a myriad of woes. Understanding prostate anatomy may help navigate the rough waters of prostate trouble.

This video demonstrates how “simple urology learning tools” (S.U.L.T.s – a straw = urethra; an orange = the prostate; a rubber band = neuromuscular bundle; scissors = seminal vesicles; and one of my hands = bladder) that I, as a urologist would carry around in my white coat, help demonstrate prostate anatomy, where the drugs work, and what happens when surgery of the prostate is necessary for either benign enlargement or cancer.
